I heard that part of the pain I'm experiencing in the middle of my chest, at the bottom of the ribs and trailing off the left, following below the bottom left rib could be caused by the Fibro. Can it? I haven't noticed anything. I've got pretty bad myalgia's in my knees right now and I KNOW the stress from all the hospitalizations caused it. They still hurt something fierce and I've fallen a few times. My regular doc said if it kept up after I finished the prednisone, to call the office and they'd schedule an appointment with a physical therapist.

This could possibly be costochondritis. Many with fibro have this too. I will get attacks of this. There is a link in Fibro 101 all about it so you might want to read that and see what you think.

Fibromyalgia can affect muscles, tendons, and ligaments most anywhere in the body. about the only thing on me that hasn't hurt at some time or another are my ear lobes! No muscles there!
