Sure glad it's Friday...how about you? So what is it that YOU like about Fridays? Is there something special you do or have planned? Do you have a weekend routine? Why is it that we look forward to the last work day of the week?

I have 2 reasons I love Friday. First it means that hubby will be home and I don't have to share him with work. Also, I love the sleep in time even if it's only until 7AM but just that fact that you don't have an alarm clock going off is a great thing!

What do you love about Friday?

The thing I love about Friday is payday. I get to pay bills then go out to dinner. But the thing I love the most is it's the day
before Saturday and I can sleep in on Saturday . This week Shrek and Iron Man 2 are playing at the drive-in so I may
load up the car with grandkids and hit it. Always have to do this on Friday as I have to work on Sundays and we don't get
home until about 2 in the morning.

I always look forward to sleeping in on Saturday and Sunday. I also like to tackle projects that I can't very well do during the week if I have kids around.

PAYDAY! That's the great thing about Friday. I can pay my bills and hope I have enough money leftover to go out to eat. I take this day off from cooking!

I love the fact that everyone can stay up late Friday night and sleep late Saturday morning!

Honestly Friday is just another day, no.....take that back........it is 2 days before dog training. 

We don't get a payday as we are self employeed, I get to write paychecks for others even if we didn't get paid for jobs done that week............juggle, juggle, juggle

I get my 22 month old grandson every saturday night till Sunday night. He is a handful but he also brings alot of joy just watching all the energy he has. That is my fun for the weekend.

Friday is just another day to me also. It does mean that the soap opera that I watch is usually good. lol... And I look forward to watching Bill Mahar (sp) in the evening. I do wait for that show every week. Well, that shows you what my life is like, eh....

I do have a doggie play date on the weekends so that is fun.

Friday night has always been "date nite" for hubby and I. We go out to eat someplace,

have a great meal, conversation and good laughs.

I agree, Bill Mahar is interesting!

Weekends are a mixed bag for me. There are more people (family members) around, which is good, but I get more tired out too. I care too much, I guess, about them and therefore, use up a lot of my energy when I'm around them. I'm often drained by Sunday night. Such is life!

But I do feel the different vibe in the air on Fridays, that the world is humming to a different rhythm. There's anticipation in the air.

I've had a bad week and not been well at all and would love just to curl up with the hubby and dogs all weekend.

I guess I am a holdover from my childhood and my teaching yrs. Friday @ 3 was my favorite time of the wk! The anticipation was just too much. My DH works Fridays so it is the excitement of him being off the next day, we are really really close to him being off and home w/ me. We should have been born rich. Oh well.

Nana, I am so jealous of you having a drive in! We used to have 2 in my town alone, plus 3 more w/i 20 mi north and south of us. There are some nights, just the way the air feels, it just seems like a drive in night. They closed all the drive ins around us before my children were even born. They really missed out on that fun. Hope you and the grands have a great time tonight. And yes, sleep in tomorrow, you really deserve it.

The kids were busy so I wasn't able to get them. The drive-in I go to has been around for something like 60 years. I know I
went there when I was a kid. His prices are good and the food is excellent. He has a drawing for a free pizza every night and
a second chance drawing on his web site. If you fill up the frequent visitor paper you get to win stuff, anything from pizza to hats.
It's a good homey place and only a few miles away. He says on his site how few drive-ins there are left in the country.
