Does anyone have sensitive fingertips??

I go through periods my fingers will ache and touching things makes my finger tips hurt. 

When I go through this I also have burning sensations on my hands to, off and on.  I usually put lotion on them to cool them off, I know it sounds crazy.

Also I noticed I have blurry spots in my eyes at time, just for a few seconds, blink several times and its better.......does this sound like fibro??

A lot of times we get the blurry spots on our eyes when we are on the computer for a long time because you barely blink when you are on the computer. I too have to blink to clear them up. I think dry eyes goes along with fibro, not positive though. But it might be in the fibro101 thread where it talks about symptoms. Not sure about that either.

I hope that your hands get better. I have no clue about that.

It might be worthwhile to visit the local optometrist or opthalmologist. Everyone gets cataracts if we live long enough, bu there are other problems, like dry eyes, that could be cured without causing much anxiety.

I often get that sensitivity of the fingertips and blurry spots as well. Maybe it's Fibro, maybe it isn't....I don't sweat about it anymore. If it's not making things "worse" for me overall (that is, if it happens rarely and doesn't really interfere with my day to day living) then it's not worth worrying about.

I think you're experiencing stuff that is just normal for anyone KellieJo...but if you're really worried, mention it to your doctor at your next visit, just to be sure.

I'm past the worring stage, 6 months into this and it ain't going away. Should have gone to college and became a doctor, lol.

Hi, right now my thumb feels like I maybe got stuck with a thorn and I know I didn't.  Not the first time and probably not the last.

I get blurry spots in the eyes buy it is usually something like sleep stuff in there.  I use an eyewash at least 3 times a day and something always comes out in the eyewash cup.

I don't sweat it anymore either

I have sensitive finger tips sometimes they hurt to touch.
