Just another update on my Dad......He is off the ventilator and talking and making sense now.  He's still fighting the pneumonia but the antibiotics are really helping.  They've cut way down on the pain meds he was taking too.  His knee looks good also and the incision looks really good and there is minimal swelling.  He may be looking at going to a rehab facility now, but I think that's a good idea.  He should be out of icu tomorrow and in a regular room.  Thanks again everyone for the support and prayers.  You all are great!  Soft hugs to all.

Libby, How wonderful. I can hear the relief in your 'voice'. Rehab would probably be a good idea to get him back to his ol' self. My DM has had to do that a few times and it made a great difference.

All I can say is Thank God, Thank God, Thank God!!!

Pls continue to let us know how he is doing. Try very hard to get some sleep tonight, I know this has taken it out of you.

Libby, I am so glad that your Dad is doing so much better. Your family must feel so
relieved to know that he has made good progress. I will continue to keep you all in

I am so glad that God answered all the prayers that were sent up for your dad. I will keep on praying that he continues to heal well. Make sure that you take time to care for yourself.

This is really good news!  When the antibiotics kick in, they sure do a good job!  Thanks for keeping us posted!
