That is a HUGE problem, the spouse's snoring. Me? After 30 years of marriage, and spending night after night fighting to get to sleep with all kinds of aids, i-pod with music blaring in my ears, on the couch, etc, I finally moved out of the bed we share and into a spare bedroom and, for the firs time in almost 30 years, I am SLEEPING withOUT the use of Ambien! and really sleeping! I actually wake up with much less brain fog so I really wonder how much of my fog was the fibro or from the Ambien and lack of quality sleep? It obviously took a lot for me to do this, 30 freakin years... I finally figured how how important my sleep is and it's not going to happen lying next to a man that sounds like, well, I don't know what. Oh yes, he also stops breathing...I know...use to scare the beegeesis out of me and I would lie there and hold my breath and wait and finally poke him to wake up and turn over. I have told him and told him. He's done nothing about it. With the help of therapy, I am realizing this is not my problem. He needs to be responsible for his own health. It could be as simple as a tennis ball taped to his back that would wake him when he turned on his back. Well, I am rambling...anyway...that's my story...hope it helps you. I realize you had someone in your spare bed last night. I hope tonight is LOTS better for you!
