Feels like swollen glands in my neck

I am just wondering if anyone gets pain in their neck.

My neck feels swollen, stiff and almost as if I have swollen glands.

It hurts along my collar bone where the pressure points are and then up my neck and sometimes almost to my jaw and ears.  I'm just wondering if this is fibro or some other crazy thing.  Have a great weekend.

Well, I don't think the swollen glands are necessarily a fibro thing. However, I have read that they're on the list of chronic fatigue symptoms. Mine were swollen a couple months ago but it was clearly due to an infection. With the symptoms you're experiencing, I think it would be good to have your doctor give you a look. Can you schedule to see a doctor?

agree.. sounds like you might be coming down with something. Never know though. this thing hits everyone differently.. and meds don't help! Adds symptoms that shouldn't be there.

I have to agree with princess. Time to get it checked out. Hope it is nothing serious.

Sometimes I'll get that on one side - ibuprofen helps - then it'll go away for years. I did get it checked out to be sure, though. They thought I might have lymphoma, but thankfully, it was nothing.

Debbie, I also was thought to have lymphoma and had a biopsy on a gland. My grandfather had lymphoma but thankfully I don't.

My glands are swollen quite a bit especially when I am hurting. I have it checked many times.
