I can't stand protein suppliments. I get mine from a 2 eggs omlett in the morning (lots of veggies, don't like meat or cheese but if you added lean ham, WAY more protein), salads (lunch and dinner) with some kind of nut added (usually pecans) and grilled chicken. Grilled chicken has SOOO much more protein than those shakes (guess it isn't as convenient unless you buy the already grilled/sliced kind theough). And when I get tired of the chicken, I switch it up with fish/salmon (which is AWESOME in a salad too) and I still eat lean read meet sometimes too. Also, I don't use ANY sugar anymore. I've switched solely to agave nectar. It is 100% natural, VERY sweet, organic, and does NOT affect blood insulin. I've been losing weight slowly/steadily (despite taking lyrica) for going on the 3rd month now (at 2.5 maybe??). But I feel health(ier) than I've felt in a while (except on flare days I'm learning). Not sure if you were looking for advice or just sharing your find but I've just been so excited about
my new ways of eating that I just love to share it! I've had many friends ask me how I'm doing it because despite only having lost like 18 lbs, my mom guessed I had lost at LEAST 25-30. Down 2+ sizes
. sorry, I'm ranting!! lol.
