Now what? I don't have a lawyer! Has anyone gone to an SSD hearing without a lawyer and gotten approved? I have felt like I'm in limbo for almost two years and now it's going to be decided and I'm scared you-know-what-less....

My lawyer said my hearing should be this coming spring. Hope so, I've waited over a year already.

I have heard of people going to a hearing without a lawyer, and getting accepted. A friend of mine did, but it was not fibro that he was disabled from. I would be afraid to do it without a lawyer - but that is just me. I struggle very much with anxiety too.

Hi, Someone on this sight, I can't remember who, recommened to me to chk out the Allsup website. I think they're lawyers that only deal with ssd, They have alot of great info, I'm not sure if they have representatives in each state or how that works. It's worth a check.

I have been waiting for a hearing for about a year and sent in more paperwork in March or April.
