Since the Lyrica isn't working...this will be my next try methinks...

Experiences?

I have been on Savella for about a year now and can't live without it.  It has really helped with the constant pain.  No side affects that I can tell.  If I miss a dose in the morning.....I can sure tell by noon.....I am hurting, so the key is make sure you remember to take it.

I have been on Savella since it was released.  The only side effect from it I have had is dry mouth.  I couldn't begin to do all I do (work 40 hours a week) without it.  It made a huge difference in my days.  I still hurt, but most of the time the pain is manageable compared to having constant flares and not even being able to walk from the pain.

You really should do a search. It has helped some, it has hurt some. In my personal experience, too many people have to stop it due to the strong side effects.

We all react differently to the meds. Don't let the bad stuff scare you but it is good to know what to watch out for.

If you have high blood pressure, be very careful with this med.

Thanks for the info - and thanks for mentioning the high BP - i do have it, and after three years on meds for it, still forget about it. Dunno why.

I have checked it out a bit but it always helps to hear from real, live ppl!
