I would find another doctor if I were you. My BP got down to 62/30 and it was caused by my medication. I felt dizzy, weak, and kept getting partial bowel obstructions because of it. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I bent over to get a pan out of the cupboard, I nearly passed out and when I stood up, I couldn't breathe! I was gasping for air. I stopped my BP medications and called my doctor.
He took me off BP meds and my diuretic and I have been fine since. He said when your BP is that low, it can cause your organs to slow down because they aren't getting enough oxygen. It's rare but it can happen. Consequently, I was hospitalized 5 times in a six week period at that time because my intestines were slowing down.
I'm surprised they would give you something that can make your BP go even lower! I'd be checking out the Yellow Pages under "Physicians" if I were you. I'm sure you will feel better once you get that stabilized. I sure did!
