My Son's Heart Surgery

My son had his heart surgery Wednesday and everything turned out good.  When they got into his heart he had two different parts that was causing the skipped beats.  The one that was causing 90% of his problem they could fix.  Another spot that they didn't know he had would have taken 6 more hours of surgery so they think it's not going to give him a problem and they left it.

He got to come home Thursday but still has to wear his life vest for at least three months.  His heart was skipping over 20 thousand beats per day.  The dr. said a few years ago he would have died and their would be nothing they could have done to save him.  That's how much technology is changing.

 

I thank God for watching over him and bringing him through this surgery.  I thank all of my Fibro friends for the prayers that went up for him.  God is great and so are friends!

Hi Shannon I am so glad that the surgery went well. Hopefully soon he will be able to resume his life and all of this will be behind him. I will continue to pray for all of you and I will also thank God for the advancements in science that allowed him to live.

Oh Shannon,

I know this has been worrying you and your family - and all of us. I thank God all turned out well for your DS, you and your family.

I am so grateful for all the advancements in medicine, they have helped so many ppl we love. I am so happy you could come here today and share your wonderful news. May your son continue to improve and may you rest and take a deep breath of relief. I will say a prayer of thanks for God answering our prayers.

hi shannon, im so sorry to heare your son has had to go through surgery. isnt it wonderful what they can do for heart problems these days. im happy to hear your sons surgery has went well and i hope he has a very healthy and happy life in front of him.
ill keep him in my prayers.
