We are having a big rain storm here this weekend and thought yesterday that I was gonna get away with not suffering too much from it. WRONG!! Boy I woke up today and every muscle in my body seems to be on fire. Took my meds at 7:20 am this morning, and now 1 1/2 hours later still hurting. These are the days I hate, when not even your meds help. Ouchy!! Okay vent over:)

Nanners,
I hate rain too. We are getting it also and it is a cold one. I almost would rather have snow. Though I hate that too. But we are due for it. I hope that you feel better soon. I hope that your meds kick in for you.
Take care,
Hugs, Karen

OK, I may be shoved out the door for saying this but...I love rain storms but then I've lived in western Washington state my entire life. lol... Currently British Columbia to the north is loaning us some of their Frazer River wind and cold so the rain is coming down in tiny white bits. ;-) Further north of me they have a couple of inches of the white stuff on the ground but for the next 4-5 days we're supposed to remain below freezing and you know what that does to more rain!...wheeee, the grandkids will love it! I usually do but we're supposed to leave on Tuesday with our trailer in tow behind us. Sure hope we can get out as we have to go up long hills no matter what direction we turn at the end of the driveway.
I'm sorry the rain doesn't set well with you, though. It's hard when it only make the pain worse. Keep bundled up, warm and busy. It's a good excuse for some warm chocolate!

Well, I love a good rain storm but hate what it does to my body. I hurt all over, too, but just try to focus on the rain and how fresh everything is when the sun comes out again. I love the smell of rain, too.

I like thunderstorms in the summer. Just don't like this cold stuff.

I used to do a job that took 4 hours. But, I noticed when it rained it could take me up to 8 hours. This is when I noticed there was something wrong with me. I found out later it was Fy. So, I don't go out in the rain anymore as I feel terrible the next day....

I like a quick rain storm in the summer when it is warm and the sun comes out with a rainbow and the humdiity goes down. I know we need rain, and I am thankful for it, but it does cause many people a lot of pain. Cloudy, cold, rainy weather is heck on my joints, I know. Cold weather and snow don't bother me nearly as much as a cold rain, or days on end of damp weather.

Add me to the "It's been raining here for days, I'm in a lot of pain, and I just want to crawl into a hole" group.

Thanks guys I knew you all would understand. Still hurting today, but mildly better. I just hate these days though as my pain meds don't seem to work on these days. Wondering if its time to change up my meds??? Hmmm...

On some rainy days, the dehumidifier helps me a lot.

I hate the days coming up to the rain about
5 days out I start to hurt and the closer it gets the worse the pain, but for me the moment it starts to rain the pain faids away.
But the weather we are having heer now [end of spring] is almost like winter, we are wearing coats at night even today outside it is almost as bad with constant showers. The nights are cool as well.
Our only rain at present normally comes from storms. I hope we get a good summer. Yes we need the rain we live in a rural area and our water supply is rain water colected from the rooves of the house and sheds.
Please just let it rain and be over this way the pain never letsup.
Kathy
