coordination is slipping

I was just wondering if anyone else has coordination problems. My hands feel like they are forgetting how to work properly. Things like inserting a disc into the computer or removing bottle tops has become really difficult lately. I feel like a 1 year old that is trying to put a square block into a round hole. On occassion, I will have problems coordinating my steps also, and I will get off balance. Does anyone else have this problem???

I get off balance at times. If I get moving too fast esp going around a corner, I stumble over my own feet. Hubby says I can't go from one end of our home to the other in a hurry over tile floor. I have to go through our bedroom with the carpet to get to "my" bathroom. I fall too much in the kitchen. I also get up from a chair and try to take a step and can't get my feet moving right and stumble. I just thought it has to do with all the sinus infections I keep getting. Inner ear trouble,.

I would get that checked out, Ivey, if it keeps up. Doesn't sound like Fibro, but then, it might be.

Ivey,

I have coordination as well as balance problems. Sometimes I feel like I have 5 thumbs. My balance problems may be more attributed to my Fall. Just not sure. The balance has become more of an issue in the last year.

I am meeting with a new Neurologist in January that specializes in MS, FM and other chronic pain conditions. I do plan on making a point to bring up these issues with him.

Hi Ivey,

My coordination issues have increased and sometimes it's as severe as I don't know how to walk straight and run into everything and then my grasp and balance has been very effected too. This along with my cognative ability have been slipping. I am going to talk to my doc next visit about it because where it was just now and then, it's becoming a problem. I know that some of the medications we are all on have some long term side effects of which these are just some of them. Memory/fog thickens and right now I am so tired I can't keep my eyes open but can't sleep either. Let us know what you hear from your doc. I don't see mine again until Dec.
