Stacy, I think it is great to be able to get a second opinion.
Sometimes a differant doctor has a whole differant perspective
on treatment.
My own rheumy has a whole team of specialists he has referred
me to and they work as a team.
Go prepared with a list of questions and symptoms. Try to stay
calm and be straight forward. I think when a doc knows you are
proactive in your own healthcare he is more apt to listen and
take time with you.
Let him know how you are doing both physically and emotionally.
If you have been frustrated trying to get relief let him know.
Don't worry about the tenderpoints...tell him about how you pain
has been affecting your daily life...your sleep habits, and what
triggers your flares. Be yourself and you will do ok :)
Let us know how the appointent goes!
Hugs, Robin
