new with everything and overwhelmed

I think I posted wrong last time..the dr told me today I'm having some fibro fog which I always assumed was me being an airhead. I'm newly diagnosed (2 months) although I've been sufferring for about eight years. Did the whole tried to make a dr understand and trying to find what was wrong..and the I think its all in your head cus our tests are showing there should be no pain..to are you looking for attentipn...all that for years until a dr recently put it all together when I moved from a very small town to a larger city. I have found a great fibro/pain clinic that offers it all..medicine/sleep studies/physical therapy/group therapy. Right now we are trying to find a regiment of medication that works for me which is very hard because I have sever anxiety ans panic which makes feeling different send me into an attack...I'm pretty sensitive to most side effects idk why...and I have ulcers which I cannot take nsaids because of bleeding issues. It gets very overwhelming which in turn causes pain. I tried the savella with tramadol and lortab 10. The savella simply was horrible! I litterally felt I was going to die. So my last visit last week the dr switched me to cymbalt which I can't tell a difference yet and morphine that is long acting with lortab for b/t pain. Looking back I feel this was really helping but of course my anxiety got the best of me idk if I was scared of such a strong drug or not willing to accept that I was bad enough to need this. My therapist suggests the latter. So I called dr and he took me off that and put me back to tramadol with 3 lortabs/day. This just is not working I cry all day and only relief is a hot bath which makes my skin so dry and hurt. My dr asked to see me next week to find something. Id like to try the morphine regiment with an open mind this time but don't know how to say so. Drs or anyone with authority intimidate me so bad that I just day okay. Any advice

I was looking at your title of your thread again. You say overwhelmed. I just want to let you know it is okay to take life as it comes. Try to take things one day at a time. With fibromyalgia, there really isn't any other way to go. You never know how you are going to feel the next day. So try to stay in the moment. Do nice things for yourself, you deserve that.
