Hello to all my firbro family i hope all of you are having a wonderful christmas holiday!! I am having a good holiday, but was not able to leave NC for KY because that was the path of the snow storms. On a normal trip it takes us 10 hours with our 22month old. I did not want risk getting stuck on the side of the road with a 22 month old in this wheather!! I missed the first christmas in ky since i moved away 21 yrs. ago. I am very sad that i have not seen my parents yet, but my husbands family made christmas wonderful and that helped a little.  Hope everyone did not over do it for the holidays, i did a little and i am paying for it today!! I am so totaly exhausted i can not keep my eyes open!! I did go to walmart and buy the calcium vita D pills for $6.00 and have been on for two days. I will let you know if it helps 600mg calcium 400 Vitamin D. God bless all of you and hope you continue to have a good holiday@@

Yes Carrie, you were wise not to try to push it to KY, esp. w/a baby. It's hard not to be with family, though. I miss my parents so much - they've been gone 2 years now. (People say "oh, they were old," but that doesn't help...gee, I think I already knew that!)

Anyway, there's me going off topic again! Rest up and let those supplements do their stuff.

Missed seeing my dad today because of the storm.  I used to really enjoy going outside during the snowfall.  Guess I cant go sleigh riding with my son anymore either.  I can try, if tomorrow is a good day, maybe one time down the hill...

Carrie, I'm glad you are safe.  Maybe you can plan another trip to KY.

Debbie, my mom is gone 10 years now.  The grief never got better, especially during the holidays.  But I've built new traditions and kept a lot of the old ones too.  Each year, Christmas gets better, in spite of the grief.  There always seems to be a new challenge each year.  This year it is being new to fibro!

Hello thank you free spirit and acheybody your words make me feel better! We are leaving wednesday morning heading to KY, and going to stay a few days, little late but worth the wait.  I am sorry to hear both of you have parents that are no longer here, but their spirit is still with you!! I am trying to rest, but very hard with so much to do!! I am trying to rest and let the calcium and viatimin D kick in, hope it will begin to help me some.  God Bless and happy new year to come to you both!!

I gave your thread a title, I hope that you don't mind. If we don't then later on we have to so thought that I would do it now.

I am glad that you didn't travel in the snowstorm. Better safe than sorry in my book. I am glad that you had a good time with inlaws though.

Take care of yourself, and remember to pace yourself. I hope that you didn't over do it.
