Hi everyone,
I finally learned how to use my tens unit and love it! I don't know exactly, but somehow it distracts or confuses the brain so it does not register pain signals. You are not supposed to wear it while driving or sleeping, and that is a bit of a drag. But the rest of the time, it is great. It actually helps and sure beats taking oxycodone.
Sometimes I wish I had 50 electrodes instead of just 4!
I think they are really worth a try for those of you who do not have one.

fun stuff!!
My mom used to have one (it should be around here somewhere) for her rsd.. I used to love stealing it and using it myself.
She then got one actually implanted into her back(they have certain name but i forget what it is actually called) - which didn't work for her. The voltage couldn't go high enough to cover the pain and she pulled on of the leads once (which is supposedly really really hard to do). Thank you for reminding me about
ours!

Sue, I might check into getting one. I remember it providing pain relief when I used one years ago during physical therapy.
I'm glad it is providing such good relief for you!
Hugs Robin
