It's party time!!!  I will be having my virtual, semi-annual party this coming Saturday, February 5, 2011.  I hope everyone can come and join the fun.  The weather should be in the low 70's and I've turned on the solar panels so the pool will be warm so bring your suits!

 

For all you newbies, I have a virtual party twice a year....February and August.  They are neat because no one has pain or fatigue.  We do all sorts of fun things at my party.  We do keep it legal and clean though!  smilewinkgrin

Anyway, I think I'll try frying a turkey.  I've never done that before but will give it the old college try.  I'll whip up some macaroni salad, too.  What can you guys bring? 

 

I went to Gibsonton, which is about 30 minutes away from me, and talked to some of the circus people who live there in the winter and they were thrilled to be included in this party!  They will come and teach you whatever you want to learn.  You can be a clown, an acrobat, a tight rope walker, etc.  Of course, we have our trusty cannon that we shoot people out of.    Who is bringing it to the party?  I don't know who has it from the last party.  I hope we can really aggravate my next door neighbor, too.  He gets ticked at everything!   devil

So, let your hair down, put on your party hats and imaginations, and prepare to have some fun!  Can't wait to see all of you!   yeah

Hi Sherrine. Last 4th of July, I shot off fireworks much to the chagrin of my neighbors. Of course, I would be mad too if my pool became flooded with firework wrappers. Haha. The bad side was her pool's filter was broke. So, count me in! Fireworks are illegal in Georgia but I'm in Savannah. I'll just mosey on over to South Carolina and fill up the truck! See y'all there.

The cannon is still behind your house, Sherrine!  Would you be a dear and rub some WD40 in the barrel?  We don't want anyone getting stuck in there again.  I hope you don't mind but Pee Pants wants to bring his girlfriend this year...Big Foot.  From what I understand, she wears a size 16EEEEEE shoe.  I wouldn't tick her off...getting kicked in the throat with those canal boats would be a big OWIE.  I will spend today sawing the ankle bracelets off Lockjaw and Toe Jam.  Sadly, Horsebreath is still in solitary so he won't be joining us this year.

Fried turkey and circus people?  It couldn't get any better than that!  Naturally we will be scooping up all the roadkill, and hitting convenient store dumpsters for expired goodies.  YUM!

Remember...never ever look Pee  Pants in the eye, don't stare at the fungus on Toe Jams upper lip and Lockjaw is very sensitive about his involuntary knee jerks.  (I suspect this is from getting zapped from one too many stun guns).

Well, I only have three days to get from Central NY to Florida so better tune up the old VW bus, pick up the boys and get going!  Anyone who needs a ride, just let me know.  Being able to play a banjo is a plus on this trek!

Ok, I'm laughing histariacally now!!

I have to admit that my mind is in super fog and I'm having trouble sorting out what is real and what is virtual!!

Speaking of, can you give me the real details of how this works?? I've read of these wondrous parties and I want to participate 100%. even if that means jumping in a fireworks paper filled pool feet first :-)!

Wooohoooo!!!  I am needing this fun time !!  I think I will leave the horses home this year since the circus people will have them.  I really, really want to ride on the beach with the waves lapping at their feet, been a dream of mine for a long time. 

I think I will borrow my brother-in-laws super duper motor home for the ride down.  Karen do you want to hitch a ride down too.  This motor home is awsome and has tip outs everywhere, sleeps tons of people.

We have a lot of good meat that I can bring for a cook out.  The meat is 1/2 a cow and a pig all wrapped nice and neat. really looking forward to some fun!!

Can't wait!!! I planned on bringing Fibroella again, so we all can take elephant rides through your neighborhood.

We can keep her in your neighbor's pool...like last time, and they can deal were her mess. turn

I would love a ride. I was wondering how I was going to get there this year. I hope I am the right Karen as I see we have another one now.

I met a guy called Bones and he wants to come along. He is 6'5" tall and very skinny. I thought he could use a good meal. lol... Wonder why they call him bones. ??? He doesn't talk much so we don't have to worry about him chattering all the way down. He is just kind of there. He is a long hair though. I hope nobody minds. I think he is still living in the 70's. lol...

I am bringing my swim suit. And so looking forward to this. Denise, are you bringing your dogs this time? Or just yourself? If you bring Blitz, I will bring Jasmine, otherwise I can leave her home. She is still puppyish and likes to chew still. Don't want her to eat Sherrine's jewelry. She loves shiny metal things. Seriously.

I am so excited about this party.

Yahoo!!! Its party time. I might be a little late but I will be there. I have my first radiation treatment tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. so wont be able to leave till after that. I might have to have my daughter drive me if thats ok with all of you.
Hey Sherrine do you need my brothers bobcat this time? Let me know before tomorrow night.

Oh, I think this is going to be a good party!  I know I'm ready for some fun!

 

Heather, fireworks are legal in Florida so we will aim them in a southernly direction so they will go on my neighbor's roof.  We want to keep them away from the pool because Fibroella will be there. 

 

Donna, I'm so sorry to hear about Horsebreath.  I can't remember which one of the boys didn't like shiney things.  Who was that.  We do need to warn everyone again.  But, Big Foot is more than welcome to come.  Maybe we could get a game of soccer going but she HAS to be on my team!  wink   I play the banjo but I'm already here so I suppose that won't help matters, huh?  I could still dig it out and play a few tunes.

 

Mrs. Mike, just jump in with your imagination.  That's what these parties are all about...fun and laughter and lots of pretending.  Everyone always has a great time.  The pretzel salad sound great!  Can't wait to taste it.

 

Oooohhh, GSDgirl....good, fresh regular meat?  WOW  It should be good but I just bet Donna's possum and skunk stew will be the hit.  She usually finds a lot of smashed opposums and skunks on the way down.  You know the saying, "Waste not, want not."

 

Robin, I can't wait to see you and Fibroella again.  I'll get several bushels of peanuts in the shell and she can stand in the pool shelling and eating them.  Now that will make a good mess for the neighbor!  But we will have to sneak her in while he is out walking his dog. 

 

Shirley, after your appointment, just head on down.  You will make it in time.  Remember, this is a virtual party.  You can probably be here in a half a day.  The bobcat sound neat.  We can get Pee Pants to take care of him.  The bobcat was my college mascot so that is very neat.  The only thing you have to worry about Pee Pants watching the bobcat is he will be eating all the food...no matter what you give the bobcat.  But with the fresh meat and roadkill coming, I don't think that will be a problem.

 

I'm really looking forward to this and can't wait to meet all of you!

Sherrine...never look Pee Pants in the eye...never.  And it's Lockjaw who likes shiny things so hide the jewelry.  Sounds like Bones and Big Foot would make a nice couple...both tall.  I hope they stay away from each other as Pee Pants gets very possesive with his women.  Might have to hose them down if there's a fight.  But who doesn't like a nice friendly rumble over a woman?

Got the van all packed and ready to head out.  There's a blizzard here so it might take longer than I hoped.  Simply cannot wait to shoot Shirely and Robin out of the cannon...what a magnificent sight that was last time!  I hope more will volunteer for a ride...it's so exhilerating!

What wonderful timinig! I'm with Donna though, it may take me a while as we're currently stuck inside from the "Storm of the Century" aka "SnOMG" aka "Snopocolypse" aka "Snowmagedon"... Chicago is a mess. If any of you have seen pictures I live right along Lake Shore Drive, the major road that is closed so I will have to call in some help to get to the party... Robin, by any chance is Fibroella a cousin of Dumbo and fly? Perhaps I could hitch a ride on your elephant.

Being stuck inside does allow me to get a head start on my Superbowl/Husband's 30th Birthday Party cooking. I will be sure to prepare extras for your party Sherrine. How does sweet and sour meatballs, chicken wings and brownies sound?

I'm also taking a number to reserve my turn in the cannon. I've always wanted to do it! Suuuuuuuuuuperwoooommmmmaaannn!!!! This is going to be the best party ever!

Mrs. Mike, I need to hear more about this pretzel salad. It sounds right up my alley!

Karen, of course I meant you and I want to bring Blitz. Hope he gets along with Jasmine. Bones will be no problem as an extra tag along. Hippy huh, I like hippies. It will be good to get away for a while. I

I can't wait to see the dogs reaction to the elephant!!! It should be interesting.

Oh yeh, forgot to mention that Fibroella has learned to fly since the last party...I think she's a distant cousin of Dumbo. I'm leaving from Arkansas, so Frankey I can take a detour and swing by and pick up you up in Chicago and anyone else that happens to need a ride.

Sherrine, I'm glad you will have plenty of peanuts for Fibroella, she's grown since August. I'll also be bringing the purple boas and navel jewels again, along with the slip and slide and a liquor store has agreed to provide us with free drinks if Fibroella does a commercial for them. A dump truck is scheduled to drop off a load of Milky Way candy bars...so I do not go through withdrawals while I'm there. What about the pool guy? ...we can't forget about him.

Donna, I hope that Big Foot...doesn't like Milkyways...I don't want to mess with her.

I can't wait to party with all of you...we'll eat, drink and be merry
and have lots of silly fun! turn

Oh my, this is getting off to a wonderful start. That truck of milky ways sounds good right now. I am craving chocolate.

Denise, I am glad that you are bringing Blitz. Jasmine will probably be afraid of him. She is still timid, but not like she use to be. She is getting more confident in herself. And I sure appreciate the ride!

I will pick up Bones, on the way to your house and we can go from there with you. If that makes any sense. I will try to keep him away from Bigfoot, but he pretty much does what he pleases. Maybe we can keep him drunk and he wont bother her. He doesn't hold his liquor all that well. And he doesn't eat much. If he does I don't know where it goes. He is so skinny. He's kind of a nervous character though. But looks like a mortician in a suit. Lurch, lol... But you don't see him in a suit very often. I think he burned a few brain cells in the 70's. He just stares off into space with that nervous twitch that he has. I often wonder what he is thinking, if he is at all.

Sherrine, I am so GLAD about this! The snowpocalypse just passed us. My mom got over 18 inches of show and there are 7 foot drifts. Tell the circus people I've always wanted to be a trapeze artist, so they should get the trapezes ready. And Robin, I can't wait to get a flying ride on Fibroella. That sounds like a blast. I am also all about Milky Ways--a truckload should do for me, what about the rest of you??? Seriously, I'm just going to transport down there, since driving is not one of my favorites. I'd bring food, but I don't want to poison anyone. See ya Saturday! Diane

I just had a thought of something else to bring vodka, I used to love lemon drops and in the virtual world I am gonna have me some drinks just like last time but I promise not to overdo and sleep through the morning breakfast. 

I think I will ask the circus folks to teach me how to do the acrobatics on horseback, then borrow a horse to ride on the beach.

I can't wait to see everyone again!! 

Karen, don't worry about Blitz with Jasmine, he is good with other dogs just not chickens and he tried to bite the pony last night.  gotta work on that

This is going to be so much fun. Not just the party, but the ride down. lol... I like the tought of riding the horses too.

When we get there, I am going to let Bones do his own things, maybe he can get fattened up with Sherrines cooking.

Hi my friends they switched the radiation to 3:00 tomorrow. I think I will just fly down there. Do you think there will be anyone around to pick me up from the airport. LOL Sure glad this is virtual because I am scared of flying. lol

Hey, guys, don't forget that I have a fresh stash of my medicinal rum on hand, too!  That makes the party more fun!  It takes me several months to build it up after one of my parties.  We sure have a lot of thirsty fibromites here!

 

Karen, I forgot to mention Bones!  Of course he is welcome.  He can help get things out of my cupboards since I'm only 5'1" tall.  He will come in very handy.  He also can "spot" for the trapeze artists!  Good going, girl!  You were using your noggin to ask him to come along!  I just hope the dogs don't take his ankles to be like steak bones.

 

I want a flight on Fibroella, too.  We could fly to the beach for several hours and play in the surf!

 

Yeah, I hear you, Robin.  I still can't get all the glue out of my naval from August!  The jewel dropped out ages ago and fell in my mop water when I bent over to wring out the water.  Bummer.  I was becoming attached to it, too, but obviously it wasn't attached to me!

 

Just two more days!  Can't wait!

Just had a thought.  I canned a whole bunch of sauce from tomatoes in my garden lsst summer and am going to bring some along with my piccalili for snacks.  Can't wait for the sunshine!!  I LOVE Florida!!

I just posted a really long post and the computer decided that I wasn't who I said I was. So I don't know if I can remember all that I wrote.

Denise, I am heading to your house. I will pick up Bones on the way. He is so skinny that you wont even know he is there. And he doesn't really talk much. I think he is in his own world. lol... At least until he sees Bigfoot anyway.

We can leave early and take the scenic route and enjoy that vodka on the way. Bring the tomatoes. I love canned tomatoes. Can I ride one of your horses before we leave. I haven't ridden in years.

I hope that everybody is haveing a wonderful pain free day.
