Does anybody take Lyrica and have IBS. Just started Lyrica Friday, and I can't go to the bathroom. OMG

Does this go away after a while?

Oh gosh, Marilyn, that's NO fun. I have IBS and that happened to me when I went gluten-free! (go figure) So that was the end of that - not for me! Have you asked your doctor about it? I hope you get relief very soon.

Lyrica didn't do that to me, just stopped working.

I have IBS before taking it it just made me gain weight 8 lbs in a week take care Deb

It happened to me with cymbalta. Try taking miralax. It works wonders for me. All it does is make your poo softer and slippier. Makes it a LOT easier to go. The nice thing about miralax is that it doesn't alter your digestive tract.

I too have similar issues and vote for Miralax. If you go to Costco they have their own brand of it and it's a lot cheaper. I put it in my coffee (French Vanilla) in the morning and there's no taste or texture except that it's a bit creamier. No complaints there. In the mean time get a lot of water going down. You could also try a stool softener. Generic from Walmart is really cheap and they work the same way. It's 'colace' that's the active ingredient in those.

Good luck and don't let this continue on without doing something or you will reeaaallly hate yourself.
