Just wondering if anyone has truly tried to change what they eat. I have found since trying to eat more raw foods, veggies, fruits, mixing them as smoothies, salads etc has helped me. I have been a junk food, fast food bad eater for a long time...lol. I did get some good foods in, but not what my body needed. I know it's very hard to change your diet, and I am doing it slowly, I have found that my energy level is better and my "active" pain is getting better. I still of course have muscle soreness and tender points. I have been cutting carbs out slowly, and drinking more water. I know this will not cure fibro, but I have felt a difference, for the good. Not as fatigued as before either. I never thought of drinking a green smoothie, but when you mix leafy greens with tasty fruit its actually really good!, easy to digest and really good health benefits.
I just refuse to take meds, to many out there, and to many nasty side effects. I will take otc pain meds, thats it. You wouldn't believe how many companies make money off of sick people. I won't go into my soap box mode ..lol.
