Well I am just so over all the pain, I am so tired,

Depression is not helping and my husband is also no help. I am feeling the cold tonight last night we were cooking and tonight we have a cool wind so I am feeling the cold. My husband wants the fan on in the bedroom, too cold for me so it is the lounge for me again tonight. So it is the TV for company, no one can hear me cry this way.

I know I have great things happening in my life DD wedding and we are enjoying planning that together, it is just being tired and in pain, The headacke constant pain in my whole body. Yes a pity party

I really hate those days when we feel "all alone".

I have a good job with supportive co-workers/bosses and I have an understanding family, But, sometimes I still feel that know one can really know how lonely it can get when you are all consumed with pain, or fear of the unknown. I can tell myself all day long that I really am lucky and that there is always going to be someone that suffers more than I do, but saying it and actually living it are two different things.

I am just glad that we have each other and all the others here on this forum to have our pity parties with. Being on here has helped me tremendously. I feel for you and hope that your pain will soon come to an end and things will get back to your "fibro" normal. (or maybe even better than).

Recently, I was having my very own pity party and decided I needed a change of scenery. I went out to a nature park not far from where we live. There's a walking trail around a small lake.
Due to some latest health issues, I can't exercise as stenuously as I would like. I can walk at a slow leisurely pace and my distance has been cut quite a bit.

I walked partially around the lake and sat down on a bench taking in the beauty surrounding me and watching the other walkers. I could see someone pushing a wheel chair approaching me. It was a Mom pushing her son who looked to be around 8 yrs old...they stopped and sat for a moment. The boy looked to have cerebral palsy...he looked at me, with a wide grin and smiling eyes and said, "I'm having fun".....in that moment, I realized how blessed I was and thanked God for my healthy child.

We all have pity parties at one time or another...we are human!
Somedays are happy...others can be sad, but we do have the potential to turn bad days into good ones, we just need to believe we can!

Hoping to focus on the positive today...I've got a lot of blessings in my life.

Kathy, I'm sending you gentle hugs and hope your depression lifts. I know depression is an illness and just wishing to feel better doesn't always make it happen. Hoping you find relief soon!

Kathy, I hope that you are feeling better. I usually try to think of things that have made me happy in the past when I feel like that. I also have depression and sometimes it can be overwhelming.

My husband just left for about an hour and I am sitting pleasantly alone but I like to be by myself.. LOL.

So sorry that your having a bad time right now. ewwwww I am just cringing thinking about the fan...I too have a hubby that loves the fan in the window...I don't like it one bit, its cold and it makes me hurt. I can so understand that.

 

How exciting that your planning a wedding!!!!! turn When it gets rough for you, try to imagine that beautiful smile your daughter will have on her face when she is walking down the wedding path!!!

kathydownunder, if your husband wants the fan on, get yourself an electric blanklet. And bury yourself under it.
