just wanted to let you all know that I finally got the appt. to start the radiation therapy. I will be going in Tuesday morning 10:30am. I think it will start with a scan, then the pill, then a nice long (de-radiation wait), then another scan, then home all in the same day.
I still haven't gotten all the cans and cant dos, have to talk with radiation safety speciallist on day of appt. I do know that I get several days off, cannot sleep with hubby for at least 3 days, and, cannot be with the babies for at least 3 days. It will be hard but I know that with the help of my wonderful family, we will get thru it.
On top of this, my knee is still killing me and I am totally exhausted. Truthfully, the 3 day confinement will be a nice "rest" for me and my knee.
