Hi Anxious612,
I went to a supplemental security hearing. I don't know if they are alike, but I kind of think that they might be. But I had the administrative law judge and some occupational expert there. My free attorney and me. I didn't have my doctors there which I wish I would have and my attorney didn't help me in the slightest. Needless to say, I didn't get it. But the good news is that about
a year ago I was able to work a job. So that meant it got better. I wouldn't have been able to work a job when I was diagnosed and even for a couple of years afterwards. I have had fibro since 2001, but wasn't diagnosed until 2002 or so. So things do move slowly with fibromyalgia. And the one thing I think about
, is I am getting older every day. So I try to get the most out of each day. It is a struggle, but it is possible.
I wish you well with your hearing. I hope that all works out for you. Keep posting, and know that we all care.
Hugs, Karen
PS I wanted to add, if your hearing is like mine, they ask you numerous questions about what your abilities are. Remember when they talk about something such as bending and squatting, can you do that? They are talking about doing it five days a week, and eight hours a day. Could you do that everyday for eight hours off and on. Make sure that they are clear about things like that? Some things we can do, but can't do them all the time. Do you have an attorney? It does help. But you have numerous ailments and I think that they will take that into consideration. Best wishes...
