First off don't know why I am being a baby about calling my doctor, I think I'm just aggravated with the whole medical community.  ANRP said fibro back in January prescribed medications, can't fill them due to the doctors office not filling the paper work for the insurance company.

Now I have been having LOTS of nerve sensations, water, pins/needles, tingling, chill like feelings mostly in my legs.  I do have sharp pains too and pains that may linger but I do realize stress, weather and what I did affects it. I have the twitches too, yeah me <sacrasm>

I swore last week I pulled a muscle because it was painful and hurt to lift my leg up, I babied it and less than 24 hours I was ok, now I know a pulled muscle would hurt longer.

The crazy woman in me notices I have more nerve issues than pain.

I do have anxiety too and I work to control it, this is stressful.  I know this could be a fibro symptom it's uncomfortable yes I can stand it but the frequency does unnerve me.

I do have another appointment in April but I kept thinking maybe I should call for an earlier appointment, dh thinks so he also told me to tell them get on the ball.   I feel frustrated because I know they see anxiety in my file but the symptoms is what is causing the anxiety....can't anybody see that

Feel free to respond, feel free to tell me it is anxiety I just ask you be honest.

Kellie, my heart goes out to you! It is so very frustrating when you feel your doctors are not doing their job. You are more patient than I am about having paperwork filled out. I'd be at that office everyday giving someone a piece of my mind. You are entitled to good health care...just the frustration you are experiancing is sure to be causing you pain because of the stress and anxiety. Please make a trip to your doctor's office and get this matter resolved. You should not wait. I would consider finding a doctor who is more caring and compassionate. You are deserving of the best treatment possible and you certainally are not getting it.

Any new symptoms should be reported to your doc. They do sound typical of fibro but fibro shares symptoms with many other conditions also. Good luck and keep us posted. I wish you the best!

Hi Kellie...yes it is frustrating when doctor's don't do their job.  I have those sensations in my legs almost all the time and it was what sent me in for testing in the first place.  Mine 'crawl' also.  The strange thing is, when I don't have clothing against my legs I do not feel all those weird sensations.  I was told due to the sensitive nature of our nerve endings, the slightest touch creates them to backfire.  I am forever thinking there is water dripping down my thigh or their are bugs on myankles.  It is also a symptom of anxiety but either way, annoying.

Donna crazy you said something about pants, I'm noticing that. The other day my lace was close to my skin not touching it though and I could feel, it was odd.

Robin, I don't want to wait, I don't want medication for pain, that comes and goes, I handle that good its the sensations I want something for because first off admitting I had an issue with anxiety was a pride thing so I've admitted and decided to conquer it.....lol but the sensations are not helping with the battle, lol.

I'm feeling less like a crazy old lady because of your post. I get a lot of the feelings in my legs that you described. One of them, the one that feels like a chill, had me concerned. I reported it to my doctor who is the one who diagnosed me as Fibro. He looked at me with such puzlement or disbelief that I just stopped talking at that point. A long time ago I noticed that as one of my first symptoms. Find a good doctor. That will be your biggest investment in your health. Don't go in with a list of things you won't do and expect him to fix you. Good luck, you are certainly not alone.

KellieJo, I am with you with the "weirdness," as I called it.  It about drove me crazy.  I take a low dose of gabapentin (100 mg twice a day) and the weirdness is gone!  It doesn't help a bit with the deep pain, but no more random tingling, twitching, skin crawling, pins and needles and other nonsense.  I sure hope you get some relief soon, and I wouldn't hesitate to call the doctor!

Well, now I have to ask a question.  Is fibromyalgia a form of neuropathy?  Has anyone been told this?

I have all these symptoms from time to time, but have been told they are from my small fiber sensory polyneuropathy.  My neuropathy was caused by my vitamin and mineral deficiencies from gluten intolerance.  Eating the gluten (before knowing what gluten was doing to me) was robbing me of all the necessary nutrients we all need. 

I know there are "myalgias" that are considered neuropathy.  How do we determine which issue we are dealing with, or is it easier to just lump them all together?

I have had the bee sting type feelings, numbness, electric shock type feelings, bugs crawling, water running down my leg feelings, cold spots, etc.
