I've had a lot of hair loss from meds for rheumatoid arthritis. My hair has gone from thick and curly to fine and wavy. It is not fun, but at least it isn't painful!
Someone mentioned Biotin, which is a B vitamin. A number of folks in some of the RA forums recommend it for hair loss. You need the high dose though - 5000 mcg - to address hair loss.
Don't know if it will work for me, but at least the thinning seems to be slowing down. Or it might be my imagination. I had to cut my hair shorter for the first time in my life, so I just have a lot less hair!
Worth a try. I'll let you know if I feel it helps over time.
Best wishes for good days,
Nicole
