Daughter won disability case but not based on fm/cfs

The judge said that he didn't think that there was enough proof that fm/cfs could cause a disability but granted her the case based on her severe depression. Said the depression was causing her pain and fatigue not fm/cfs. His opinion. He wasn't there when she became very ill all of a sudden when she was 12. The most important thing is she won her case. Took almost 2 years. A major weight off her shoulders and ours. So glad it is over.

I am so glad to hear that your daughter received her disability after 2 years. I will have a hearing in the Fall and I am so nervous. So,the judge didn't ask her any questions about her Fibro? I have Fibro along with Ulcerative Colitis IBS, Intersticial Cystitis Gastroparesis Restless Leg Syndrome and Gerd. Was her Depression cause by her Fibro? I must have some depression too cause I am so down all the time because all the pain I'm in.

He didn't ask much about the fm/cfs but did ask alot about her depression. he thinks the depression is making her physically sick and not the fm/cfs, not a big believer of fm/cfs apparently. The depression is seperate but worse due to her health. He asked a lot about her childhood. She was diagnosed bipolar a few years ago and has had problems with that.
