Yeah, we filed our taxes at the last minute again today.  So, the girl asks me to verify my SS number.  I proceed to give her my phone number.  She says...'that isn't enough numbers' as she types it into the computer.  So...I shake my head at my stupidity then give her my area code along with my phone number.  Now I am told that is toooooo many numbers.  My mind went blank...I started to give her our zip code when the hubby poked me and said "SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER!"

BTW...it took almost five hours to fill in all the forms as the hubby teaches for four universities that are out of state. (on line)  I wanted to jam an ice pick in my eye and holy crap....OWIE from sitting on a hard plastic chair for all those hours.  Fibromites should be expempt from paying taxes...that's what I say.

  Welcome to the Wonderful World of Fibromyalgia!  That definitely is something I have done.  I have been asked for my SS number and rambled off my husband's SS number!  He's been deceased for 13 years.  I can't remember my own phone number but I can remember his SS number. 

 

The other day, I was in the process of leaving a voicemail for my doctor.  They asked for my phone number.  I did give them my phone number....the one I had in another state that I had lived in 14 years ago!  Boy, did I feel stupid changing my phone number on the voicemail.  I know they think I'm a real dingbat!

Hello to all. I am brand spanky new here. I had done a websearch on painful hands and shins and eventually found you all. I read post after post after post. Finally EUREKA!!! I am quite sure I know what is wrong with me NOW. I thought I was losing my mind and becoming a hypocondriac (sp). I had other things going on with me health wise. I just could not figure out why my hands would hurt so badly...the left more so than the right. Then the strangest thing started happening to me. Whenever I would take a deep breath or exhale or inhale deeply my shins would feel as if someone were taking a cattle prod and zapping me. It would scare me and make me say some selective words and it didn't matter who was around me. Then I was saying to my co-workers that it felt like I had worked out bcuz my muscles were so so sore. For years someone would just poke me in the arm and it would hurt as if they had punched me. I never understood that either but left it alone. I had no idea that there was a name for that symptom. I amhappy to know what it is but so unhappy to have two more things to add to me list of medical issues I have. Thank you all and I cannot wait to have information to contribute to help someone else out.

I too answer the phone as if at work. I work in a call center so my job is answering the phone. My dtr teases me when she calls for her dad, I say just one moment pls. LOL

Yesterday I went to the kitchen and got a canned diet coke and went back to my home office. A few minutes later I looked for my drink and could not find it. I thought maybe I left it on the counter. Went to kitchen and could not find it. I got another one and went back to computer. I opened it and then noticed I had another open new can sitting at my desk. I stil say it was not there before LOL and I was the only one there.

I have worked at the same job for 7 years. When we set up budget plans for people we have a certain code we put in. The other day, it took my a few minutes to remember the code. I did not want to ask a supervisor cause I felt stupid.
