I wanted to thank everyone for their input and support on the other thread, and let you know that I'm still with it. This is day 5.
I am doing okay so far - lots of salads and chicken, but I LIKE that so it's all good. I'm still struggling with breakfast, but I hope to take of that with a trip to a large chain grocery store. I can't wait to try Udi's bagels.
In addition, I found out today that there is a local woman who takes orders for gluten free baked goods, so I'm going to contact her. She and her mother have both been gluten free for years, and she comes highly recommended. She sells to many of the smaller stores in the area as well, so I can try the items before ordering.
I'm hesitant to say anything so soon, but I do think I feel a bit better. Could be the diet, could be something else. Either way, I have renewed resolve to stick it out for at least a few more weeks, to see if it really is making a difference.
