Just wanted to check on everybody from the South after last night. My hubby is in Atlanta for some business meetings and all of my family and friends live there. So far, everyone I've talked to is okay. However, all those storms are heading my way today (in Savannah). Please all of y'all be careful.

I do hope southern folks are okay! Here in south central Virginia, we are just getting wind... the storms hit to the west and to the north of here.

I'll be praying that those storm do no damage or, better yet, dissapate!

 

You are in Savannah?  I've always wanted to go there and will one day soon.  I hear it's so lovely.

Savannah is beautiful. If you come , bring lots of bug spray. The sand gnats will eat you up!.

Most of my husbands family is in Alabama. His cousin finally found a place to get a call to go through. She said that many small towns are leveled. The will be without power for 3-4 weeks and while driving around it looked like a war zone. They really need our prayers right now. Thankfully we have gotten word that all of our immediate family is ok but many familes are not as fortunate! On the Nascar website they have a link to help or send funds if you are able. Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention. I know if it was us here up North they would be helping us!
