Where's the button to "reboot" my brain

The fog today has made me insane

 

Where in the world did I park my car

I know I didn't park it out this far

 

Maybe I didn't park it in this parking lot

I can't remember, I guess I forgot

 

It could be parked west of the mall

I'm really not sure, I just can't recall

 

Being a fibromite, I'm sure you can relate

to how the brain acts, in the fog state

Did you see me in the parking lot the other day trying to open someone else's Camry?  tongue    Yup!  That happened.  You just have to laugh.  I just want to "boot" my brain some days!

That is really good and sums it all up for us doesn't it.

I spent several minutes looking in the parking lot for my car before it dawned on me that I drove the hubbies car instead. Had to start the search all over again.

It sure does sum it up! lol.....I've found myself doing the same thing. Sometimes I take my daughters car to the store and by the time I go to leave, I'm looking all over for my truck. Then it dawns on me....duh...I drove her car! I just laugh at myself....what else can I do.....

I always have to look at what row I am in, because I always forget. Sure can relate to the poem.

I totally relate.  Like I mentioned in another thread...I totally forgot where I parked my car at Walmart this last winter and nearly froze to death trying to find it.  Just as I gave up and was going back into the store to warm up, I found myself standing right next to my car. rolleyes

I never have trouble finding my van - I give it a few mins. then I raise my arm as high as I can and hit the panic button! From there it is just follow the sound :D

Hi Robin, Thanks for another laugh. I once looked for my car for at least half an hour. Was at the point of calling the police to say my van was stolen when I finally realized I was in the wrong parking lot. lol

I have this one app on my phone called "Where's my car". When you leave, you set it - it connects to the GPS in my phone. So when I go out of the store/mall, I hit Find Car and it TELLS me where to go...turn left, turn right, go straight etc. It's awesome :)

I have "lost" my car so many times that it isn't even funny anymore. And like Sherrine, I have tried numerous times to open a car that looked like mine. One time I even tried opening a car of the same color as mine but it was totally the wrong make!

I stood outside someone else's honda clicking my car keys trying to open the door, wondering why the locks wouldn't open, when my car was a few more cars down.

I almost put the eggs in the cabinet and the dish in the fridge the other day.  At least that one I caught myself and my hand was entering the cabinet!

AAAAhhhhhhhh fibro fog, keeps life interesting. wink
