Hello everyone

I was wondering I any one of you guys get pain in face. Ita like tmj but I guess tmj guys will understand. Buy I have this all over my body
Face muscles tighten up and I can feel them pullin around my cheekbones
Severe internal tremor even in face and vibration. Chewing and talking makes it worse.
I can even feel it inside ears. Muscle pulling.
It's like when you laugh too much and fAce gets super tired and starts hurting.

But the thing is I suffer from this all thru out my body. Severe and constant pull pull and spasms. Just like a twitch is and can be constant it's like that spasms. Like dominoes one going into another. Plus lots of neuropathy like symptoms.

What happens is like a burn you get when u hold a pose when working out but it happens on it's own. Without exertion. Then they start to tremor and spasms like I tierd them. For example I carry grocery bags for 10 steps. When I put bags down arms are going crazy twitching and tighten and spasms.

So I can bend my neck and induce it down back and feel it even in thighs.

Little movements makes it worse.

I don't know what I have I am getting genetic testig done thru the periodic paralysis association for different gene mutations for myotonias.
So let's see.

Any suggestions

Sorry you are having a rough time.

Just in case it isn't a disease/condition by itself: Are you taking any meds? I have gotten tremors, facial tics, clonus spasms in legs and abdomen from Neurontin, Ambien, tramadol, a couple of different cholesterol meds, metoclopramide, trazodone, amitriptyline, Cymbalta, and Feldene.

I have been able to stop the drug-caused spasms and also muscle spasms in my back with a half the smallest diazepam (1 mg). I took it with permission from my PCP. Benzodiazepines are a known treatment/"antidote?" for some of the drug-caused spasms and is also an excellent muscle relaxant. If you haven't taken it before, it may make you sleepy.

I get severe tightness in my feet lower legs and chest.I get alot of vibrations in my left ear plus tinnitus.This may sound funny but it in no way is"sometimes it feels like someone is grabbing my breasts really hard or I have a too tight bra on and I'm not.I am not on any meds right now I am trying and I don't know how long it's gonna work to deal with it because I have had had bad lung problems and I don't want to take anything that may cause respiratory depression.If anybody knows of any natural remedies please let me know.I have had almost every test done and so far it is fibromyalgia but I want to make sure it's that and not complex regional pain syndrome(crps).From what I read the most accute tests are called thermography or something like that.It can be caused by prior trauma too.

Well I have had my symptoms for 14 yrs Nd didn't start any meds until 6 years ago. Even then all this was there but not so severe. Got Deere after flu shot. But I do believe the lyric I started in 2006 did something too. I woke up first morning with pichin all over my body. It was different from the stabs and severe vibrations in both ear lobes.

So now I take baclofen as needed and I do have Valium. I just got this year and doc said 2 to 4 mg as needed. I took 4 yesterday and one 10mg baclofen today and calms it down.

Hi,

Sorry that you are going through the facial tightening and pain. I have had it as well including jaw pain. It can be really uncomfortable and scary. Does Alleve help?

Tulips, I have the jaw pain all the time. TMJ etc. I almost pulled some good teeth. Did not think it had anything to do with Fibro. But now I am wondering. When I get face pain, I take sinus med. It really helps.
Is there any symptons that are not Fibro..
It blows me away!!!
Let me know if you find something that helps face pain :(

Yes, Tulips, I get facial pain too every day and I do get that horrible sweep of pain through my jaws with the first bites of things. I also used to get those strange 'pullings' you describe. I could stand in front of a mirror and watch my eyebrows or forehead move. Or cheeks. I also could be carrying a cup of coffee and watch helplessly as my whole arm would start to twist over almost spilling it with no action from me at all. Or finding my whole upper body would start to twist. I'm sorry I can't explain why it was there or why it's not doing it anymore. Or is the 'anymore' more like 'just not now?' Whatever those strange, uninitiated movements are I haven't a clue except that it's a big glitch on the brain-dar.
