Nerve itch?

I'm not even sure if that is the right way to say it....but here is my explanation. Lately, I have been getting these itches, like deep itches, that feel more like a nerve thing. Sort of like a nerve twinge except with itching. I really don't know how to explain it.

It's happening in the knee that I hurt last winter...and a bit below the knee as well, around a bone that I broke over 11 years ago. I'm not sure if any of that has anything to do with it, or if it's just from fibro.

I already take nerve medications, which makes me think it wouldn't be nerve related, but it sure feels like it.

Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?

Oh, I forgot to add that I have asthma also.. :(

I have neuropathy also and from what I understand, nerves run long distance's in our body.  the problem can start in one area and move to another.  I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel 11-12 yrs ago.  A few years later I started having issues with my feet and the doctor told me the same nerve runs from the hands, up the arm, through the body, and into the feet.  So I am thinking there really isn't any way to determine where the problem begins and where it ends.  Encouraging, right?
