Going to a new dr tomorrow to talk about
stomach flares, but that not meaning for this post.
Something happened today. I went to church then on my own went to the gas station for the papers. It was relaxing - no kids screaming in the back seat. I had my music on. It was just a sole suppose to be relaxing trip to get newspapers.
Well, I pulled in the station parking lot and noticed a woman standing outsdie the door. Not going in or out - just standing the staring at the door. So I began to wonder if they were closed for some odd reason as I slowly pulled into a parking spot - then BANG! - I had forgot I was driving and crashed into a pole that prevents people from taking out the porch supports. Van was fine, I was fine. Just felt really stupid. I have already limited my driving because of past ...ummm.....issues shall we say.....
Just wondering if this is still fibro fog? or should I begin to be concerned?

I'm sorry that has happened. I've never had that problem but I do crazy things if I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing. This sounds like what happened to you. You were distracted and not paying attention to driving. I'm glad no one was hurt.

I think we just get distracted and forget what we are doing. We have two garages and I have pushed the
opener for the one I am NOT pulling the car out of and backed into the closed door. It makes me wonder also.

I think you were just distracted, don't beat yourself up. My hubby is the world's best driver (just ask him) gets distracted and the vehicles have many dents to prove it. I have stopped listening to the radio when I drive because it was too distracting for me.
