I finally had a decent day I felt better than I have for months and then WHAM I took my (adult) daughter to her Dr appt and she was told she has a brain tumor. OMG I just could not deal with that I worked outside all day trying to work it off but I am still pretty upset. She is my brain she keeps track of my appts and comes with me to make sure I understand everything. I can't move today I am so sore and I'm not sure if its because I overdid it yesterday or if a flare is starting only time will tell. I feel so selfish because this effects me in so many ways, I know our children grow up and move on but we never stop loving them.

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope that your daughter will be okay. Know that you both are in my thoughts and prayers. This is such terrible news to hear. We will all be praying for your daughter.

I have two daughters, both adult and I can't even imagine what you are going through. Many blessings to both you and to her. I will be praying hard for you, believe me. Please know that I feel for you. There are no words to fully express what I am feeling for you.

Thx everyone I think we are both still trying to absorb this. I still haven't told anyone in the family because my niece passed away 5 years ago after fighting a cancerous brain tumor. I don't want to stir up all the emotions again especially for my sister who herself has a chronic health condition.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this, I certainly don't blame you for not feeling well now. Don't feel selfish, you rely on her a lot and it's understandable to be worried for yourself as well as her.

My thoughts are with you, grandmaroses. I hope that your daughter comes out the other end just fine. Children are something that we never stop valuing no matter what their role in our lives are. You are not selfish-she's willing to help you, so you take her up on it. It's normal to fear for the future when something like this comes along, too. I wish you lots of luck and peace, and take care of yourself.

I am so sorry about your daughter Rose. I will be praying for both of you. I have lung cancer and I am so grateful that it is me and not my daughter. I cant even imagine how hard this has to be for you. Please keep us updated as to how you both are doing.

How scary for you and for her. My daughters are grown, too, and I understand that they never stop being extra special to us. I would be devastated, too. I pray that this will be something non fatal and treatable and she does not have the same outcome as your niece.

I brought one of her daughters to my house for a sleepover she's 10 and knows something is up so when we were in the garden she asked me point blank "Grandma is my mom going to die". I choked for a second and then tried to explain to her that her mommy has to see more drs and hopefully everything would be fine. She said all she wanted to hear was that and she said soon her mommy would explain to her more about that thing growing in her but she needed to know if she had to worry about her mom.

I'm very sorry to hear about your daughters condition i hope it all turns out okay. You'll both be in my thoughts. All this stress will not be doing you any good either i bet. I sincerely wish you the best in all of this and pray it will get better.
