Any experiences with Wellbutrin? My doctor started me on it just about
a week ago. Both the doc and the pharmacist said I may not feel much different for about
a month but I've had a major increase in panic attacks since I've started. I have had the occasional one since I've started the diagnostic process but I've had one almost every day over the last week and I don't know if I should attribute it to the med as a side effect or if it's just an emotional flare (as opposed to a physical one? Has anyone had something like that?)??
I'm having one right now... I've been frozen to my couch for 20 minutes, shaking and I feel like I can't breathe and I just want to cry. I need to get up and do some chores and I'm just stuck here....

I wouldn't use it,I'm not sure if they have to dose down after just a week or if you can stop cold turkey.celexa freaked me out like that and I only took it once.I wish I could be of more help.I don't want meds because of reactions like that but for people who really need it I just experimenting til you find a med. that doesn't affect you badly is they key.

I would talk to the doctor about
a lower dose or else another medication. But if this is a side effect of wellbutrin, it may go away in a couple of weeks. The side effects usually do. I couldn't even sleep on high doses of it. I tried a lower dose and then ended up going to something else. But yea, I would call the doc and let him/her know what is going on. This may go away as it usually does with antidepressants, or it may not. I hope that you feel better soon.

Hi Moon...sometimes with this class of drug you can get a paradoxical effects...that is they give you the symptoms they are supposed to treat. It may go away but I would tell your doctor.
