Anxiety could very well go with fibromyalgia, as the pain gets worse, so does our anxiety. You might be able to take something for that, but I usually recommend deep breathing. In theough the nose and out through the mouth. It is called smelling the roses and blowing out the candles. Breathing usually is recommended for anxiety, but if it gets too bad, talk to your doctor and get some relief.
As you get anxious, remember that fibromyalgia cannot kill you, it is just a challenge some times. I know suffering from anxiety is the pits. I have it too. I take xanax and it really helps a lot. I hope that you find what is right for you. Best wishes.
Hugs, Karen
