Is it only me that gets emotional after reading the spoon theory.

I have read it so many times, watched the youtube video
and each and every time,
it brings up a tear..

I agree bwanna. It's not just close to home, it IS home. It's such a wonderful description of what our life is like and if we choose it's a great way to explain it to friends.

My husband and I are now using the phrase "let's conserve some spoons to do this"...lol!! Even my bro hopped on board and has been asking how my spoons are doing:D

It really does seem to help depict the struggles we have and conveys our message properly *I use my husband to talk nowadays because I stumble all over my words;p*.

When more people board the 'Fibromyalgia Awareness' train, The Spoon Theory has done its job:D

I am a member of a video game forum where a lot of members have chronic illnesses. They always refer to spoons and have the spoon theory stickied so people know what they're talking about when they join up. I had certainly read it before but non since I started with these medical issues and I read it the other day...... and wow, it hit home in a whole new way. I have to keep reminding myself that my spoons are a lot more limited than they used to be.

You can find it by just typing in Fibromyalgia the spoon theory in google
it explains it in detail.

I just read it. Great article.It would b good 2 send 2 family & friends.I get "really" tired of trying 2
explain FM 2 people; even my own family after all this time.I also sent a message asking about FM
contacts in NC.Maybe someone will see it & b able 2 help.:)
