Stupid office chair

Well I have not been well stupid flu, so I am hurting.

I have gotten over that and am doing my volenteering job.

My CFson called in and was talking to me when I moved the chair took off and left me behind.

I landed on the food with my right hand landing first now I have jared my bad arm and it is hurting like I do not know what it is midday and I am here to 4pm.

Needless to say the chair has gone the new chir I found does not move even when I push on it.

I am glad in some ways it was me because some of the older ladies who do this would not be able to get up off the floor afterwards.

Needless to say my DS wanted to help me straight up. No I need to cope with the pain first.

I hope you are ok. It reminded so quick of my fall in 2004. I am short grab my sons computer office chair and ruptured all my disc, but one in my neck. I had spinal cord compression. My neck is bolts and plates now. That is when my fm came into place. I never stand in office chairs anymore. Hard lesson.

I had a really bad fall last summer when walking my dog.  I hit the cement sidewalk with both knees which jarred my hips and back.  My back went into spasms and I then fell forward and "caught" myself with my hands.  I have osteoporosis too and was afraid to move at first.  But, I got up (definitely not a pretty sight) and kept on walking. 

 

That was the best thing I could have done for myself.  It shook out some of the back pain and the muscle pain.  I was sore but did get better in about a week.  You will too.  I'm glad you didn't break anything!

Oh man falling just is so painful. been there and now some people laugh at how careful I am doing things but as everyone here knows all it takes is one thing to go wrong and we potentially could end up in a huge flare. Hope your feeling better Kathy and the fall did not break anything.

Mariyon yes chair differ in most offices, I have had the privilege to order chairs several times in the past for our office. They come in so many different sizes, designs, wheels, no wheels. Washable, breathable, padded, short, tall, it can be quite the task getting the right chair for one person might not be the same chair for another.
