once again at a standstill

I had another emg and nerve conduction today on my feet legs and suprisingly on my back everything came back normal no muscle problem or nerve problem so that leaves me with still no knowing and that is a tough one for me because I am the person who always had to know "why" about everything to why the sky is blue to what causes wrinkles.I have all the signs of tarsal tunnel with no nerve entrapment.I am still afraid of rsd.My one leg is shorter than the other,I have osteoporosis in my feet but is it really?can they tell by just xrays.so many unanswered things.I can accept fibromyalgia but I really want all the worse stuff ruled out.

Nana, I know how frustrating it can be waiting on a diagnosis. It is possible to dx osteoarthrits by x-ray. X-rays can reveal any erosive process going on. The feet are one of the first places osteoarthritis can show up.

I've had some strange symptoms with no answers. Doctors don't always know what is going on. You can get a diagnosis and not all cases are the same. I found that if my symptoms are being treated and tests are being done to rule things out, I'm more at ease. Hoping you will get some answers soon.

Although fibro doesn't kill you, it is just as disturbing to me as my other diagnoses.

the podiatrist concluded that I just have left over neuropathy from being immobile and transient osteoporosis which may get better with calcium supplements,I told him my blood levels were okay but he said that it can happen that way because the blood draws the calcium out of the bones to keep the blood levels good
