I really hate this I am hurting [cold here] and all I want to do is go to bed and have a good cry.

BUT I take ENDEP to help with sleeping for the fibro and as it is a antideppressant I can't cry.

Some times I think crying helps with the pain, it looks like I will be giving myself a couple of weeks off this medication put up with the lack of sleep just so I can cry.

I am not depressed I just need a good cry for every thing I have lost in my life with this stupid illness.

I've never heard of an antidepressant making you unable to cry! That sounds really bizarre. I wouldn't like that, either. Are you sure that's the reason? My doctor always says that any drug can cause any reaction in the "right" person, so maybe it's just a bad mix.

It is a stupid illness, I'd have to agree! Moronic.

Hey Kathy, sorry your not feeling great, it's cold here too, think it makes me miserable as well as sore, and yes I agree fibro is a stupid bloody illness....I know what you mean about having a good cry gets it out of your system...what about a good scream if you can't cry or bash a pillow?....not much help am I....sorry I hope you feel better soon......hugs to you....shannon

Hi Kathy...Just wanted to tell you that I did not cry for the entire time I was on an antidepressant.  My husband is the one who pointed this out.  Unfortunately these drugs have the ability to mask emotions, which I guess is the point!  Maybe a nice loud scream into a pillow would help!  Oh...someone else already suggested that... smhair
