...my doctor finally said that with all of my symptoms, and with my whole-body muscle pain, she thinks I have fibromyalgia. She did bloodwork just to rule out anything else, but went ahead and put me on Lyrica. Does Lyrica seem to help any of you? And I've discovered a pattern to my pain...the later in the day it is, the more I hurt, and then by night-time I'm miserable again. Does that happen to anyone else? OK, just wanted to share. Thanks!

That is great you have a diagnosis! :)

My pain is better in the morning and worse in the evening and at night, too. But I'm undiagnosed. Still going to docs and testing.

Yes, I'm worse at night, too. I usually don't take anything till mid-afternoon, then my half a Tramadol. Today I'm taking the 2nd half....that's been happening a lot lately, I believe due to increased stress.

Lyrica worked for me for about a month, then stopped...sad day.

I seem to hurt most in the day time. For some reason I am more relaxed in the evening and I don't hurt as much. Unless I over did it or something. I use to have my best energy at night too. That is when my sleeping was all messed up.

Hi,

I am also new to all of this, but for me my pain is too in the mid morining to evening. For some reason I seem to ease up in the afternoons but by then I am wide awake. (Insomnia). I haven't been diagnosed yet...if this is what I have but I do hope to find out something soon. Maybe a diagnosis or if nothing else to be able to cross it off my list.

Congrats on your diagnosis. At least now you know what you have and others do to so they can help.

Hi Michelle, I seem to be stiff in the mornings and achey when I first get up and then later in the day I get achey again...especially if I overdo it...

Glad you've got a diagnosis, sorry it's fibro but hey there are worse things it could be.....welcome

My pain is in the morning and by evening it starts back up. This week I felt like someone beat me. My skin became so sensitive also. Heat and hot shower is my friend. I have never tried lyrica.

Hi Michele,

I ache in the morning but unless I have to I do not get up right away I lay in bed and do some stretching, I have noticed this helps me. I have never tried lyrica I'm on cymbalta and although I know this is helping I am considering stopping because its so expensive. I also find evenings are worse and of course if I get stressed I am in major pain.
