Oh boy. I learned a big one today

I let myself run out of meds!

I'm in so much pain I hate myself.

Of course still having Lyme on top of it doesn't help at all.

From the headaches to the pain in the neck and right on down to my toes.

Just went and picked up all my meds and took them.  Can't wait till they kick in. lol

Don't know how anyone does this with just over the counter drugs.  They never did help me any. 

And they want me to go without for two days before I go for my NCV test. 

My poor family is really not going to llike me. Thank goodness my hubby is who he is. A wonderful person.

OTC drugs don't cut it for me either!  I do have a lot of pain.  But, I think I've become so accustomed to it.  Back when I was diagnosed, doctors didn't hand out pain relievers and narcotics like they do today...thank goodness!  Actually, I was prescribed ibuprofen and it was a prescription drug at that time. 

 

It's amazing how we can adapt.  With the OTC meds, supplements, exercise and other things I do, I have quite a good life in spite of this.  But I do continue searching for things that will help me even more.  When I find things, I'll pass them on to all of you.

 

Meanwhile, whatever medications we take, I hope all of us get even greater relief soon.

One cup of coffee does it for me; although it never did before, when I was on many different meds for fibro, left me with such a drug hangover in the morning, which I thought was fibro fog and I learned, since weaning off of them, that it was indeed the drugs. I still take two prescription meds for fibro, but now I am very careful before adding anything else because of all the side effects, and sadly, most physicians don't bother to discuss that with you before putting you on the drug.

Yep, Teresa, I sure do!  When I get up in the morning, I do some stretches, make myself presentable, and head out the door for a walk.  I REALLY don't want to do this at all but I always feel better and more energized when I get back home.  Then I have a breakfast with very few carbs and some hot tea.  (Coffee would work, too.)  Then I'm ready to take on the day.  Sometimes I have to set my alarm to get up a little earlier to get this done before an appointment, but I do it and it pays off for me
