varying symptoms

Hi~

Yes, I've had symptoms that seem never-ending and if feels like you're going to go crazy. But, this is where you hold on the that knot at the end of your rope and let your friends and loved one help out. We won't let you fall...OK?

If your pain meds aren't taking care of the pain then your doctor needs to raise either the a mount or the strength of them. This country/world has a miraculous chest of medications that can treat pain well but unfortunately doctors are either afraid or just won't prescribe a proper dose. I could go on and on about the 'bad apples' in the bunch who spoil it for those of us who need the medication but I'm sure you've seen or heard it before. Suffice it to say that those of us who honestly are living with chronic pain suffer needlessly.

Another thought is....when your doctor prescribed your pain medication he/she only was able to guess at the dosage that would be right for you. Most often they are very close, otherwise they can adjust it. If it's too high it's easy to take less and then let the doctor know. If it's not enough we all see to be afraid to tell the doctor and ask for more. (see above paragraph for reason...lol) If you don't tell the doctor that the medication is too much or too little then he has no way of knowing that it's not the right dosage. We wouldn't think a thing of asking for medication/lotion to control itchy skin and if it wasn't strong enough we'd go back and he would either increase the strength or try a different medicine. Well, it's time to explain that the medications just isn't doing the job any more and ask if you can discuss alternatives. You do not have to ask for a medication or dosage in particular, that's his job. Just put it the subject on the table and let him offer something new or different to try.

That's my thought for today...and my hands are more than done typing. But...you are more than worth it to me~~
