Air temp-wise, that is. At what temp does everyone else start to get muscle aches? We went from daily temps around 90 for two weeks to now starting a second week of 75-82 degree temps. I'm upset to find that anything much below 76 is too cold and my muscles hurt if I'm exposed to it for very long. I can't personally can't stand summer's heat, way too hot and humid, but I'm all ready dreading the winter if I'm hurting this badly at 75 degrees.

Hi Evenkeel~
I guess it's all a matter of what you are used to...maybe. For me if I get above 75*F I'm absolutely miserable from the heat and anything that stresses my body adds to the pain. When it gets about
60-65* it's T-shirt weather up here in Western Washington. In our climate you learn to dress for the day and that means layers upon layers. Currently I'm usually in T-shirt weight shirts with 1 or 2 layers on top. As the day goes by I'm down to one extra layer. In winter it's more like sweatshirt weight for me and maybe another layer on top. My perfect temperature to be comfortable is between 65*- 70*. I'm guessing for our more northern members they can handle colder temperatures.
Hope this helps~

See, that's the thing. I've lived in MN and IA most of my life. I'm so used to cold weather that I preferred it until my fibro started. It used to be that I'd be wearing t-shirts at 60 degrees and hoodies at 45. I coudn't do that this spring and it doesn't look good for this fall, either.

I have my thermostat set at 71 and i am comfie with that. if it gets above 75 i start feeling yucky, and right now I am in southeast georgia so its hot and humid so i try to avoid the outdoors. I am originally from northern California, and it snows in the winter there and i just love the colder weather.... but I do notice if the car a/c is on too low i get achy so who knows hat my threshold is....

Everything between 60 and 80 i can stomach, ideal beeing around 68 to 77 everything above below 60 is allready uncomfortable for me personally.... Thoug i used to be able to stand temperatures welml in to the 80's i can't anymore with the fibro, i just get extremely uncomfortable when it's that hot, but still i would prefer too hot over too cold on any day!

I am good around 70 degrees. I can't handle anything over 85 or below 20. Thankfully my temp range is large but it seems like the temps are always over 85 or below 20 in the winter. I can't seem to win. I am looking forward to fall though.

WitchesBlew, I'm the same way with car a/c. My wife and I fight over the control knob because she's hot but I'm hurting. I keep a sweatshirt in the car so she can have her way. :) LupusMomma, I'm looking forward to fall too! I'm really looking forward to when it's consistently cooler so I can get out my hoodies and be happy living in those again.
