I know the tendency to blame all our symptoms on fibro. I was just wondering whether anyone has had nausea as a result of stress?
I work a job where my team is level 2 for customers who call in with issues. Level one takes the majority of calls and my team takes the more difficult calls that level one can't solve. Usually I get one or two calls an hour. Today our phone system went screwy and we were watching calls queue up on hold without being able to answer them. The level one team only had 5 people (out of over 20) who were capable of taking calls and the rest were hitting my team. By the time we could start taking calls some had been on hold for a half hour or more. They were upset but the ones I talked to were understanding when I told them we were having phone issues.
Anyway, this went on for about
three hours and as soon as the problem was solved and I started to relax I found myself unable to focus on the work I needed to do and becoming more and more nauseous. I finally asked my supervisor if I could go home and ended up sleeping for three hours.
I was just wondering if this was the new way my body is going to react to stress now that I'm dealing with fm (thankfully my job isn't usually stressful) or if it might've been something completely unrelated.

I've been extremely tired & felt nauseated, and it seems like I saw nausea on a symptom list one time. I get nauseated from time to time. Sometimes I think mine is hormone related though

I Agee with grandmaroses. Your nausea is probably stress related. Hope you feel better.

Nausea is a big component of anxiety/stress for me. I don't find that it occurs with the fibro, itself, though. I'm betting it was the period of intense stress that brought it on and not necessarily fibro related.
