Stressed and Worried.

Have had fibromyalgia for awhile. This past week,my mother went into the hospital and her condition is touch and go. I've been extremely stressed out, but now I'm worried about a new symptom: muscle weakness and twitches all over my body. My left thumb and forefinger seem particularly twitchy and weak, and my wrist aches. (I do a lot of typing so I figure that might have something to do with it.) Has anyone else here felt similar symptoms during a time of crisis? I'm so worried that it might be a neurological disorder or become even worse that I'm even more anxious!

I know how you feel Sunnymoon. My mum had a heart attack a little while ago and it also got me al stressed and it took a serious toll on my muscles not to mention on my fatigue.
I'm also pretty weak in the arms, like you, i have a hard time opening heavy doors, or screwing the lids of things. It's so frustrating that even the simplest of taskes can sometimes cause us sucg difficulty.
I hope you get through your crisis and that your mum will be ok.
