Ok I do not feel mean at all, but my HUSBAND has hurt his knee. It is only twisted no damage at all. He is using a walking stick and moaning about
how much it hurts.
Do I feel sorry for him? Not in the least, when asked how did he think I felt with constant pain. His reply was "You are used to pain you have it all the time"
Di I bite at that, now also my MIL has hurt her arm badly not broken but tendion damage and she has been told that if she wants it to heal she must rest it and not do a lot of things.
Now if I or any of us with Fibro was told if you rest for a few weeks it will be gone, we woulld do as we where told and rest.
No she is doing everything they told her not to do then expecting me to feel sorry for her because she is in pain.
Now what do I do just look at them and say "Now you understand what I have put up with for almost 20 years and it is all over my body not just in one area and if you did as you where told it will heal and go away. You can take mild pain killers and get relief if only it worked that way for me"
Now my DD who is living at home with my SIL also gives them no mind as she also suffers from Fibro.
"Do as you are told and you will be ok" Was her words to her father the other day.
