Mamanan, sometimes we all need a pity party...especially when we don't know what is going on. We sure can conjure up a bunch of reasons though, can't we! This all helps soooo much with anxiety and depression.
I had the elbow issues when I first came down with fibro. The pain started in my toes and worked it's way up each joint until it hit my elbows. It was like I had slammed my elbows into a table...that electrical-type pain shooting down my arms into my hands. The pain was horrible and stayed that way for over two weeks. It started getting better but I still had much weakness in my hands...to the point I dropped dinner on the floor one night when I was getting ready to serve it. I just sobbed. Mamanan...this was all fibro! It eventually went away and I'm fine now. I haven't had that problem for years.
It's so disheartening to keep going to the doctor, going through tests, and nothing is found out. I usually "ride out the storm" unless it's unbearable and I don't think something could possibly be fibro. But I only do this with muscular issues...not with my heart, eyes, severe dizziness, etc. I always have those things checked out right away.
If it's colder there, then a front has gone through and that can make your fatigue worse. You also are concerned...possibly stressed...with this elbow issue. That can cause more fatigue also. Then, lets add in all the hustle, bustle, and stress in getting ready for Christmas, too. Golly, people without fibro would be fatigued with all of this! I am just guessing but I do think the fatigue will be better after the holidays. You can take a deep breath and relax then.
I hope your arms start feeling a little better. Kind of play it by ear. If you are getting really stressed out over it, then definitely head to the doctor. I just know that fibro can play some mighty mean tricks on our muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
