Oh, wow! I'm sorry to hear this. I did look it up and it seems that this can flare and then have periods of remission. That's good. I'm glad your doctor figured out what was going on. It's better to know now then later when your joints could really be affected. It sounds like you are getting good help and hopefully you can get this under control.
Things like this can be mind-boggling but you just have to take one day at a time and not project yourself in the future. No one knows what the future holds for them. So focus on each day and hopefully you will go into a remission soon. Listen to your doctor and judiciously take your medications to keep the inflammation in check.
I have some arthritis from Crohn's disease, they think, and I can't take ibuprofen anymore so I am taking an all natural product called Curamin and it is helping me with inflammation. Fish or krill oil helps, too. I take krill oil and it helps with inflammation for me. I started taking it before I had to stop ibuprofen and I noticed I didn't need as much ibuprofen as I did before taking krill oil. So these are a couple of things that can help along with medications your doctor prescribes. Be sure to ask about this before starting it.
Here is the link about Curamin that I wrote a week or so ago. Many people with arthritis get help from this. Also google it yourself and see the information about it.

Try not to stress out over this. That won't help you one bit and could cause more pain with your fibromyalgia. Just take a day at a time and you will get things figured out.
