I started the reduced dose this past Saturday, alternating dosages every other day....it will be a gradual process overy the next 3 more weeks. I did better for a couple of days and last night and today it has been bad. I usually just grab onto to something and stand still till the gray/black goes away and stabilize then I am ok until it pops up again....
When it first happened my PCP was going out of town and sent me to urgent care...my bp was also 170/109...I have been on norvasc for 3 months with no problems..also suppose to help with the Reynauds too. Going was a complete waste because they wanted me to have a CT scan of my head but could not do it because they did not have the equipment. Then a couple of days later I went to the Rheumy and discussed with her and she wanted to hold off on the test until we knew it wasn't the effexor.
I do not have money to waste so I am willing to give it a little time. I already may have to get my knee looked at it it doesn't get better soon too. I will research that nerve...never heard of that....thanks!
Ak...The preacher made quite an impression huh....lol
